I’m Shucayb Dad , an award-winning journalist, storyteller, and media professional with a strong background in content creation and broadcasting. Currently, I serve as the Head of Programs at Sahal Cable TV and represent Somali Storytellers in Puntland.
Since starting my journalism career in 2019, my focus has been on producing impactful stories that address social issues and climate change. My work is dedicated to informing, engaging, and inspiring communities to drive positive change.
As an award-winning journalist, I’m also passionate about passing on opportunities to the youth, helping them access valuable chances for growth and development. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Administration, I combine my leadership skills with storytelling, using media as a powerful tool for awareness and transformation With a combined social media following of nearly half a million, I connect with a wide audience, sharing stories that inspire positive change.
